buttons, blogs, and stuff.

Since this new adventure is still under construction over here at Queen of Hearts, I wanted to take a minute to ask if there is anyone coming across this blog that would like for me to include a blog button? I’d like to keep this blog nice and organized but there’s nothing more awesome than seeing little photos with cute smiling faces, beautiful babies, and resources. Please comment if you have a button and a link for me to find it. Or if you’d just like for me to include your blog link! Thanks so much!

The official launch of this blog will be August 1st! YAY!

I’ll be posting everyday for the month of August. No trophy necessary. I’m pretty excited to get this going. I’m excited I’m excited I am excited!

slowly but surely

This site is getting there.. slowly but surely. I promise to really get this page going more and more each week. You’ll see changes often and I’ll announce when the site is officially complete. Mark this into your bookmarks because it’s here to stay. Lots of exciting things to share.. videos.. photos.. helpful links, you name it  I probably have it. The focus of this new site is to document Natalie’s life but to also focus on the positivity that comes from CHD. Sounds strange, I know. CHD and something positive.. yes, it’s out there. Natalie is one of those who proves that it’s really true. Also, when you’re stuck in a world of a nightmarish diagnosis with a baby barely a month old, you need all the positivity you can get. This site will ooze positivity. Natalie oozes positivity. This task will be very easy. We love every reader and fan the Queen gets. *fist bump*

well hello there!

Natalie is 5 years old and was diagnosed with a severe congenital heart defect called “Tricuspid Atresia” when she was almost 3 weeks old. Natalie loves having new royal subjects to keep entertained. This site is her own personal space in the innernette where she may want to post herself one day. But she is so much more than her heart defects. She wants to be a cat when she grows up and she would also like to a character from My Little Pony, but we’re not sure how that will work out yet. She is BFFs with her big brother James, who gladly lets her rule the household. Natalie is truly a free spirit and a true warrior. At her worst, she will cry for something she wants in 1 second flat. Especially if she doesn’t get it. Whatever it is.

At her best,’ll mostly see her at her best.
